It featured guest vocals from Vengeance Rising front man Roger Martinez. In 1990 their third album, Wicked Generation, was released and considered a partial concept album about a young person struggling with life seeking hope. Their fourth album was 1991’s, Obsessions, a more straightforward melodic metal album.

King James is a heavy metal supergroup formed in 1993 with guitarist Rex Carroll (Whitecross) and frontman Jimi Bennett (Sacred Fire).

STRYKEN

Often referred to as the “fundamentalists in armor”

Formed in the late 1970s in Arizona, Stryken originally began as “Stryker,” a hard-hitting rock band founded by brothers Dale and Steve Streiker. After gaining early traction with a single and a four-song demo, the duo expanded their lineup by recruiting drummer Joey Knight in response to a want ad. The band’s journey took a pivotal turn in 1982 with a move to Austin, Texas, where they soon recorded Blitzkrieg, a nine-song cassette that found success across the Southwest.

BRIDE

In 1983, Dale and Troy Thompson started a band named Matrix in Louisville, Kentucky. The name was later changed to Bride. During the band’s peak years it was known for covering a wide range of musical styles and remains popular in places like Brazil. Their song “Same ‘Ol Sinner” is on the Digital Praise PC game Guitar Praise.

Bride’s first three albums were Show No Mercy, Live To Die, and Silence Is Madness. Their song “Everybody Knows My Name” rapidly rose to the top of both the CCM and Pure Rock Report charts and held that #1 position for several months. Throughout their career, the band was awarded 4 DOVE awards and achieved 11 #1 radio singles.

WEAPONS OF GOD

Weapons of God is a Christian Metal band from Dayton, OH, formed by Singer/Guitarist, Steve McGowan, in 2014.

The name of the band was inspired by the verses of the Bible, Ephesians 6:10-20: “The Amour of God”

In 2016, they made their debut after veteran Singer/Guitarist Leon Black joined the band.

After being signed by Roxx Productions in 2018, they recruited veteran bassist, Ed Girard (former member of Four Star Revival) who joined the band, and in July 2019, their self-titled debut album, “Weapons of God” was released at the Chains Unchained festival in Aurora, Missouri.

In late 2023, Jason Harmon joined the band to make up the current line-up.

Between 2019 and current day, Weapons of God has been honored to share the stage with popular bands such as: Biogenesis, Disciple, The Protest, Absent from the Body, Relent, Chaotic Resemblance, Monarchs to Oblivion, FaithHead, Decyfer Down, Out of Darkness, Tantric, and many more.

As for the Weapons of God sound, they are rooted in the old school of Hard Rock, Heavy Metal, and Progressive Rock influences that stretch from Kiss to Stryper, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Zakk Wylde, and many others. Weapons of God, as a Christian Metal band offers through their lyrics and music an uplifting message that can be used to praise God, for fellowship, and for spiritual warfare.

LES CARLSEN
Voice of Bloodgood

Les Carlsen was formerly the lead singer of Christian rock band Bloodgood. Bloodgood was one of the earliest Christian heavy metal bands. They toured in the US under very difficult circumstances, blazing a trail that had not been traveled. They faced extreme opposition from both the world and the church, a story best told in the documentary film Trenches of Rock, produced and directed by Paul Michael Bloodgood. Les Carlsen will be performing his new originals and Bloodgood classics with a full band.

THE PROTEST

The Protest has toured with national acts like The Letter Black, Icon For Hire, Decyfer Down, Sent By Ravens, and Nine Lashes as well as opened for Fireflight, Disciple, Spoken, Brian “Head” Welch, We As Human, Family Force 5, and more! Playing an average of 150+ shows a year, The Protest has headlined stages at Ichthus Festival, Cornerstone, LiFest, Agape Fest, and Rockfest.

The Protest worked with Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning producer Travis Wyrick and with Mark Anthony of The Letter Black on their debut album Game Changer, which features Noah Henson of Pillar and Brad Noah of Disciple.

NEON CROSS

Neon Cross has been rocking the world with a message of love and redemption since the early 80s. It is a Los Angeles based Christian rock band. Started in 1983 by Don Webster, the band has evolved into the current band you see today. With two major CD releases and 3 compilations, Neon Cross has been rocking for years.

Band Members:
David Raymond Reeves – Vocals
Don Webster – Guitar
Colton Russell – Bass
Terry Russell – Drums
Larry Farkas – Guitar

IGNESCENT

Ignescent, is a rock band founded by Jennifer Benson. Ignescent consists of Jennifer Benson on vocals, Justin Smith on guitar, Evan Johnson on bass, and Antonio Camacho on drums.  Since 2018, the band has been primarily touring throughout the United States and Europe.

Ignescent has had the honor of opening for Stryper, Flyleaf, Eve 6, Megadeth, Saliva, Lacey Sturm, Otep, and many more.

Ignescent is more than just a rock band, they are real people with real stories.  These relatable stories are the inspiration and backbone of the songs with moving guitar riffs and a driving beat.  Ignescent draws from their struggle and experiences with anxiety and depression to put a message of hope in their lyrics to encourage others that they are not alone.

DANIEL BAND

Daniel Band hails from Canada and were known as one of the early pioneers of Christian rock/hard rock. The band originated back in 1979 and got their start by playing along side other Christian rock bands in a local coffee house staged in the basement of their church.

In 2011, this Canadian Christian metal group was awarded the GMA Canada Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing their pioneering influence on Christian rock.

IMAGES OF EDEN

Images of Eden is a fearless concept band that brings together familiar, well-loved elements of metal and rock combined with their own unique vision, message and delivery. The result is a distinct musical hybrid that speaks directly to the struggles and tribulations of the listener.

Musically, Images of Eden draws its inspiration from a hybrid of modern hard rock combined with classic metal, creating a modern sound rife with progressive elements and impassioned, unfeigned vocal delivery.

JAMES DURBIN

James is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Santa Cruz, California. Many associate his name with his appearance on Season 10 of American Idol (2011), where he was unabashedly flying the flag for heavy metal, appeared with metal gods Judas Priest for rousing renditions of “Livin’ After Midnight” and “Breaking the Law” and also appeared with legendary guitarist Zakk Wylde.

Durbin’s signature vocal prowess and powerful stage presence have earned him stamps of approval and praise from rock and metal royalty like Steven Tyler, Sammy Hagar, Rob Halford, and more.

James will be performing an acoustic set at IMMORTAL; featuring original songs, plus covers of Bloodgood, Stryper, and more.

APOLOGETIX
That Christian Parody Band

ApologetiX specializes in Biblical parodies of classic and modern rock and pop hits, including everything from Elvis to Eminem, AC/DC to ZZ Top, Three Dog Night to Three Doors Down to Three Days Grace. It’s kind of like “Weird Al” Yankovic meets Billy Graham. In fact, they’re the only band to be featured on the radio shows of both Billy Graham and Howard Stern … plus The 700 Club and The Dr. Demento Show.

Formed in Pittsburgh PA in 1992, ApologetiX has played about 1500 concerts in all 50 states (and Canada) and has released 72 albums. Although the band has been releasing an average of four new albums per year for the past decade, Immortal Fest will be their first concert since retiring from the road to focus on studio work in 2017.

TRYTAN

Trytan is a symphonic progressive rock-metal band creating Christian music. The band started in the early 80’s. The band released 2 studio albums in 1987 and 1990 before disbanding. There was a short reunion in 2001 for a live performance.

Thirty years after their previous album, Trytan released a new album in called Blood of Kings in 2021 with a line-up consisting of original member Larry Dean, Jim La Verde (ex-Barren Cross) and Eric Gillette (solo, Neal Morse Band).

RANDY STONEHILL

From a young age, Randy Stonehill has had a passion for music, a boldness, and an optimism that few others possess. When Stonehill was just 17, he invited Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin to jam with him the next day at the band’s very first concert in the US at the Fillmore in San Francisco! Although nothing came of it, Stonehill released his very first album Born Twice just two years later in 1971.

In 1976, Stonehill released Welcome to Paradise, which was voted the “third most important contemporary Christian album” in a mid-1980s poll of Christian music critics. For his 1984 release Celebrate This Heartbeat, Stonehill teamed up with longtime friend Phil Keaggy for the song “Who Will Save The Children?” In 1989 the friends formed The Keaggy/Stonehill Band Keaggy, and the two have teamed up several other times, both live in concert and in the studio.

50 years and 30+ albums later, Stonehill is still spreading his message of grace and forgiveness through his music.
